About UtilityLab

UtilityLab is a collection of free, privacy-first browser-based tools built for developers, designers, and content creators. Every tool runs entirely in the browser using client-side JavaScript — no data is uploaded to any server, no accounts are required, and no tracking scripts monitor your activity.

The project was created because most free online tools either upload your sensitive data to external servers, bombard you with intrusive ads, or cap functionality behind paid subscriptions. UtilityLab takes the opposite approach: all tools are completely free, work offline after the initial page load, and process everything locally on your device.

Our current toolset includes 11 utilities covering JSON-LD schema generation, DPI/PPI calculations, AI cost estimation, CSV data cleaning, subtitle splitting, SVG animation and shape divider creation, CSS container query testing, peer-to-peer file transfer, Markdown formatting, and video safe zone calculation. Each tool is designed to solve a specific real-world problem that developers face regularly, without the overhead of creating an account or trusting a third party with sensitive data.

UtilityLab is hosted on Cloudflare's global CDN and uses no backend servers, databases, or user tracking infrastructure. The site is built using static HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript — no frameworks, no build-time tracking, no cookie banners. When you close a tool tab, your session data is gone permanently.
